The main objective of the training for journalists is to strengthen the capacity of the media in the Republic of North Macedonia with regards to the understanding and reporting on the EU accession process and to emphasize the importance of this process for the citizens through balanced informing, detailed coverage of the process and sharing relevant and high-quality information with the public.
This training will enable journalists to get acquainted with:

Details related to the implementation of the screening process and the practical implementation of the negotiation process

The role of media in the provision of high-quality and timely information related to this process
-
The importance of transparency in the integration process and the possible challenges.

The specificities of practical reporting from the explanatory screening sessions.
This training will include a theoretical segment, which will be organized in February 2023 in Skopje, as well as a practical segment with a trip and participation in the explanatory screening sessions for Cluster 4 – Green Agenda and Sustainable Connectivity, to be held in Brussels in the period between 15 to 17 March 2023.
The number of participants is limited and will be determined in accordance with the resources available for this purpose within the framework of the project.
The travel expenses of the participants for the Brussels trip will be covered by the organizer.
